What I'm Reading This Week #22
Howdy do and welcome to the last Friday of May. 😑 Even though it was a short week, it always seems just a tinge longer than the previous week. I'm getting antsy because I want to see blooms. When you're growing from seed, it requires a patience I don't naturally have and trying to keep things from getting to everything before it has a chance to. Then reading about some God awful hornworm that can just come in and decimate your tomato plants overnight. It makes me wonder at what point do I put up the insect netting over the bucket veggies. I remember being on crowded beaches and boardwalks as a kid but I definitely like to stay as far away from that now as I can. But I love being on sand and seeing water whether it's the ocean or a great lake any time of year.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm at an ocean, then I love to sit and watch the waves and marvel at the unbelievably blue waters. Haiti was a great place to snorkel, so that was fun. If I'm at a lake, then I love to frolic in the water and enjoy sitting on the beach watching nature all around me.
ReplyDeleteI love the beach. I live a landlocked and pretty dry state, so that much water is just awe inpiring for me so I can sit and just look at the water (big lake or ocean) for hours. I love to sit in the sun and read and snorkeling is pretty great too. If I lived closer to a beach I'd probaby be there year round because every season brings something good to the beach.
