Hump Day Poll: What Takes YOU Back?
In a world that is spiraling down the toilet ever changing, and sometimes not for the better, there are small things we can do to create little pockets of nostalgia from a simpler time. Sigh) But for me, there are a few scents that I can rely on that are still out there. When we were dating, one of my favorite scents was that spray musk and I was tickled to still be able to find it! One spritz of it and I'm ready for a night on the town with the teenaged Mr in his Iroc. I was also happy to find Night Magic from Avon is still available and gives me that same feeling. My friend got it for me last year and with as much as I use it (rarely to never), I'll have it until I'm dust. (I did find the solid perfume compact in a bin and still have it if I want to be truly...
"doing Amy Dixon's Breathless Body" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, I love going to your blog I laugh out loud at least once every post! I get to have something sweet on Saturday evening, I'm trying to think what I should get?!? Those cookies look spledifurous!
ReplyDeleteSo I saw "Inception" weeks ago and it definitely has you guessing all the way through Make sure you're not at all sleepy when you watch though!
ReplyDeleteAs for delicious things I ate today: I had a Tagalong (2 actually lol) and plain greek yogurt with cinnamon and splenda and an apple lol
Ok, so can you please post the recipe for the loco moco, I tried to find it via google and had no luck. What the heck is it anyways.
ReplyDeleteDon't think me dumb but I read your email everyday and often want to comment but thought it was a huge hassle to open your blog, and sign in and all that...well DUH! All I had to do was click on the title or I think a couple other places brought me right here and now I am doing, "I will be back." Said in a very Arnold sort of way. LOL!
BTW NATF, it is me PONYFARMER from SP.
ReplyDeleteCzesia- I know, I read it and was like "oh, THAT didn't sound good!" Glad I didn't write "the Mr and both did Amy Dixon's Breathless Body!" HA!
ReplyDeleteAJ- Loved Inception! Joseph Gordon Levitt is dreamy. Sounds yummy!
Deborah- Looking forward to seeing more of ya! The recipe will be coming up in the next few weeks, hang in there, it'll be worth it, I promise! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm not touching Amy Dixon's Breathless Body with a 10-foot pole! ;)
Great day. I looove loco moco and nutella and Better than Peanut butter, lol. Great job not peaking at the scale as well. That's always hard for me. I gave in today then saw a number I didn't want to see and not I'm in a fould mood. Booo! I learned my lesson though. No peaking!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Amy Dixon's Breathless body! HA! I've never heard of pea shoots before--do you buy them or do you grow them? I know lots of people who grow sprouts on their countertop and I always mean to try it myself.
ReplyDeleteMolasses cookies and hot chocolate sounds like a good way to end the day. :) I was weak all night this week and had an ice cream sandwich. My husband buys these things and then I can't resist! But I've been working out, so maybe it will balance out? Maybe?
