Howdy do and happy last Friday of August!  I hope you had a good week and if your weather was like ours, it was FINALLY under 93 degrees.  Don't get me wrong, I know sweater weather isn't here but it was nice to not have the AC working overtime (set to 76) starting at 11am every day!   It was nice to not walk out to water the garden and walk into a wall of humidity so I will take what I can get.    Speaking of which: With this 3" San Marzano , I shall be able to make enough sauce to cover 7.3 spaghetti noodles. 😒 Now let's get to: How to Stock Your Pantry for Quick & Easy Meals in Minutes   (Ooh, I need to crockpot some black beans for some sweet potato black bean burritos.) I think we're supposed to get some snow this weekend after having had crappy rain to wash away any Christmas base that formed.  I'm really hoping to get enough to snowshoe but that never seems to happen anymore.  Might have to head north.  (Nervous laughter from the Mr as he proofreads that.)

Not a whole lot planned until we wake up and see if the weatherman was right or not.  It seems with all of the technology we have these days, they can't seem to predict weather within 2-3 hours.  So I'm hoping to return Monday with pics of us dashing through the snow.

  2. Boy, is it blustery here today! Brrrr!!! Tomorrow I lead a meeting, then head out to the burbs to see a friend who's in town from NC. Sunday will be grocery shopping and laundry and getting rid of one box or bag (my goal is to do this every week so by the end of the year I'll have gotten rid of 52 bags or boxes of stuff I just don't need). And somewhere during the weekend I need to find the time to gather up all my health care stuff for taxes and do some calculations. I dread that but I need to do it.
