What I'm Reading This Week #20
Howdy do punkin' poos? I hope you had a delightful week of blissful productivity at work (aka hanging on by the frays of your well bitten fingernails whilst saying you need to win the lottery but never actually playing.) A birthday shout out to my grandma. You know, even though she would've been 86, and I know the probability is she would be gone now, it still doesn't stop me wondering how long she would've made it if dementia hadn't reared up. I could really use one of her hugs or her hands cupping my face with that ornery little grin saying I was her first grandbaby. Happy birthday grandma. I hope you and mom have a big euchre game going on tonight. We've been slowly integrating back into walking this week as the Mr could handle. Last night he was able to do two laps without having to stop to stretch so that is good news. Thanks for having some links in there for me. I don't know how I missed those but glad you caught them for me. Happy Aloha Friday everybody!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteI hear ya on the cold. After a taste of the spring that is going to be coming next month this 20 degree day can suck it.
ReplyDeleteWord up!
DeleteThe Breakfast Club can't be 30. My word. My teens watched and loved BC as much as hubby and I did. It is definitely a timeless classic.
ReplyDeleteI know. I see that and cringe. LOL
DeleteI'm cringing with you lol
DeleteI just got do with 11 straight hours of work that just about brought me to my knees -- and I'm on-call this weekend. BUT I maintained a good mood and did whip my stapler at anyone, so it was a victory for all around. =o) I have nothing planned other than talking to mom on the phone and puttering around the house. Next week is a "normal" work week so my routine will return which will make me happy and far less tired. Enjoy your weekend!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't have to work this weekend and make puttering the main event!
Delete1. didn't recognize Ally Sheedy in one of the phots
ReplyDelete2. I remember seeing the Breakfast Club at the theater and what I wore.(and pretty in pink, st elmo's fire, weird science.
3. Ally's character was the coolest and I related to the dandruff falling on the drawing
