What I'm Reading This Week #35
Howdy do and happy last Friday of August! I hope you had a good week and if your weather was like ours, it was FINALLY under 93 degrees. Don't get me wrong, I know sweater weather isn't here but it was nice to not have the AC working overtime (set to 76) starting at 11am every day! It was nice to not walk out to water the garden and walk into a wall of humidity so I will take what I can get. My weekend was alright
ReplyDeleteI went to visit my grandmother and was able to replace items I lost in the water damage. I also helped de-hoard her attic as bit (she's not actually a "Hoarders" (thoe show) hoarder but there's a ridiculous amount of stuff in that house. I've made a plan on how to deal with some of it - I'm finally going to learn how to ebay it seems... and some will be donated and some trashed.
On a happier note, I beat my personal record (PR) in a 5mi road race by about 3 min.
My goals: pick up my apartment, hit my workouts
I didn't do much. Ran some errands, picked up the house a bit, took the boy to the pool. Mostly it was just about getting ready to go back to work today. I really could have used a 2 week spring break, one week just wasn't nearly long enough.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good weekend but did go by way too fast as usual! I definitely need to plan the meals ahead this week to make sure I stay on target and try to get out of this current set of numbers I'm in.
