What I'm Reading This Week #35

Howdy do and happy last Friday of August!  I hope you had a good week and if your weather was like ours, it was FINALLY under 93 degrees.  Don't get me wrong, I know sweater weather isn't here but it was nice to not have the AC working overtime (set to 76) starting at 11am every day!   It was nice to not walk out to water the garden and walk into a wall of humidity so I will take what I can get.    Speaking of which: With this 3" San Marzano , I shall be able to make enough sauce to cover 7.3 spaghetti noodles. 😒 Now let's get to: How to Stock Your Pantry for Quick & Easy Meals in Minutes   (Ooh, I need to crockpot some black beans for some sweet potato black bean burritos.) Keepin' it loose and what I'm reading this week

It's aloha Friday...no work til Monday...oh sorry, wrong site.  ;-)

It has been quite a week and I'm ready for a bit of a break.  I must say I'm very grateful for the massage techniques I picked up from the masseuse for my facial muscles because I'm trying to keep them loose.  I've been clenching constantly and I want to de-bunge mah face, yo.

But enough about my tight jaw...let's get to...

We have nothing really planned for this weekend since we did a road trip last weekend and then next weekend is Easter so we shall wing it.  Plus it's supposed to be cold so no real desire to be out in that anymore.

    I hear ya on the cold. After a taste of the spring that is going to be coming next month this 20 degree day can suck it.

    The Breakfast Club can't be 30. My word. My teens watched and loved BC as much as hubby and I did. It is definitely a timeless classic.

    I just got do with 11 straight hours of work that just about brought me to my knees -- and I'm on-call this weekend. BUT I maintained a good mood and did whip my stapler at anyone, so it was a victory for all around. =o) I have nothing planned other than talking to mom on the phone and puttering around the house. Next week is a "normal" work week so my routine will return which will make me happy and far less tired. Enjoy your weekend!! xoxoxo

    1. didn't recognize Ally Sheedy in one of the phots
    2. I remember seeing the Breakfast Club at the theater and what I wore.(and pretty in pink, st elmo's fire, weird science.
    3. Ally's character was the coolest and I related to the dandruff falling on the drawing
    4. My tmj has kicked in to high gear this week...bad dreams, bad jaw
