What I'm Reading This Week #18
Happy Friday everyone and welcome to May. We had a long week of getting the garage together so the Mr could finally park in it six weeks later. We still have some work to do in there as far as purging and such but we needed to get the space useable again since it's been a holding tank for our old countertop/sink, old grill waiting to be picked up by a friend, insulation, built planters and patio table and extra fencing from critter cages. We haven't had the mental drive to figure out how we get the shelves in order. I think I'm going to have to look up some garage organizing articles or something because it's really overwhelming to look at it all. I have no idea what to do to get out of the house but I do know that it's time for me to get to some of the house maintenance stuff that is due like filters and stuff. So I plan on getting that all done at some point. Have a great weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteMy snacks are nothing to write home about, but they get me through: Boars Head turkey breast lunch meat- 1 slice wrapped around a pickle (odd, I know, but the crunch is the key), 2 mandarin oranges (Halos, Cuties, etc) with a piece of cheddar cheese, 2 hard-boiled eggs, and lastly a sliced apple with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. I also due sliced tomatoes on a plate with minced garlic on top with a drizzle of olive oil, but I know you're not a 'mater fan.=o)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can get out and about for a while from the homestead. I'm heading out for a walk at my favorite park and then will come home and work on house stuff. Once I sit down, my knees will be toast so I'll take advantage of the daylight. lol Have a great weekend!!
