What I'm Reading This Week #20
Howdy do punkin' poos? I hope you had a delightful week of blissful productivity at work (aka hanging on by the frays of your well bitten fingernails whilst saying you need to win the lottery but never actually playing.) A birthday shout out to my grandma. You know, even though she would've been 86, and I know the probability is she would be gone now, it still doesn't stop me wondering how long she would've made it if dementia hadn't reared up. I could really use one of her hugs or her hands cupping my face with that ornery little grin saying I was her first grandbaby. Happy birthday grandma. I hope you and mom have a big euchre game going on tonight. We've been slowly integrating back into walking this week as the Mr could handle. Last night he was able to do two laps without having to stop to stretch so that is good news. What a relief it is to have put another major dent in our DiY projects. I know we have more to do still but any time we get one thing done it just feels good. I am so glad we got a chance to see the movies last night cause that kind of kicked off the season for me in a big way that I honestly wasn't expecting. Have a great week everybody!
ReplyDeleteSounds productive yet frustrating. I'm sure it will be amazeballs because you are so good at this stuff!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome week!
My goodness, you guys have been at it!! So glad you got so much done and hopefully this next part won't be nearly as bad as you fear. And how fun going to the "drive-in" for some holiday movies! That's just what you needed to unwind a bit.
ReplyDeleteWeekend was busy with work and I was extremely tired when I got home yesterday. My plans kind of went out the window because I was just too fatigued. But I managed to get some things done so I can't complain. This week is super busy starting today, so I just have to push through and hopefully by the weekend I can look back and see great progress has been made.
