Non Scale Victories This Week

During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses.  I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses.  My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights.  Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through.  On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower.  I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. What I'm Reading This Week #2

Good Friday mornin' to you.  (Or evening if you like to unwind from your day with me!)  We are ready for the weekend like the rest of you.  It was our first full week back on full workout rotation.

Here's what our workout week looked like:
Sun- 3.15 miles around the neighborhood
Mon- 2.65 miles at the park
Tues- Turbo Fire HIIT 15/ Liift 4 Shoulder wk 3
Wed- Liift 4 Legs wk 3
Thurs- 21Day Fix wk1 Dirty30/Liift 4 wk7 Full Body HIIT
Fri- 21 Day Fix wk2 Total Body Cardio/LIIFT 4 Back & Bi's

Boy, were my muscles sore but that's a good thing.  I'm glad to be back to doing PT again as well since we both agreed that it did help.

But enough of our workouts, let's flex into...

I'm sure the weekend will involve a little getting out of the house along with a little staying in for good measure.  The Mr has his test next weekend so its crunch time for him but he seems to be doing well as I quiz him every night.

Crap, it's grocery weekend.

  2. I have to work this morning, then I'll be doing a bit of grocery shopping for us at home because of rough storms this weekend. I also need to get to the local animal feed store to buy some Paws Ice Melt for the back deck for the pooches. Definitely an indoor weekend so laundry will be first on the list, then I think it's going to be working on the linen closet. I have some bins up there that have towels and such that are probably ready to be donated since I've never used them. LOL Oh yeah, and reading the third book in a trilogy that I'm really digging.
Have a super weekend and good luck with the shopping. That panda cracked me up!!
