What I'm Reading This Week #20
Howdy do punkin' poos? I hope you had a delightful week of blissful productivity at work (aka hanging on by the frays of your well bitten fingernails whilst saying you need to win the lottery but never actually playing.) A birthday shout out to my grandma. You know, even though she would've been 86, and I know the probability is she would be gone now, it still doesn't stop me wondering how long she would've made it if dementia hadn't reared up. I could really use one of her hugs or her hands cupping my face with that ornery little grin saying I was her first grandbaby. Happy birthday grandma. I hope you and mom have a big euchre game going on tonight. We've been slowly integrating back into walking this week as the Mr could handle. Last night he was able to do two laps without having to stop to stretch so that is good news. Such a great idea to have a rest day in the middle of the week. I need to start doing that too, my knees would thank me for it, I run over an hour 5 times a week.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about feeling guilty. I feel guilty on my rest days too, though I know my body needs them. It's so weird.
Enjoy your well deserved rest day, and hopefully your knees will feel better tomorrow!
Sounds like you definitely need it!
ReplyDeleteHey hon! I followed you over here from Sparkpeople. (I'm known as Getting_To_Goal there). I look forward to following you through the rest of your weight loss journey! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember that going to 7 days was a big change, so I think a day off 'in the middle' is fine. Enjoy!
