Hide and Seek Weekend Recap
It's Monday again! source I'll probably be lapsing into cartoon speak because ever since we saw that major companies are purging the cartoons of our youth we've been buying up what we don't already have. A Scooby Doo , two Looney Tunes and another Sesame Street from our era since the Public Television that's been teaching children for decades has been defunded. If you listen to nothing else I say, buy physical copies of your favorites and do it quick. Prices on DVD's are going to skyrocket once these are pulled for good this year and right now you can get many between $12-60 depending on how many episodes are on each bundle or if you get the entire series. Physical copies means they can't revoke digital rights copies you buy for cheaper when disputes pop up and someone gets their undies in a twist and takes their toys and goes home taking all of the copies you paid for with it. *stepping off of soapbox* Another low key weekend for the most part....
Everyone should make that pot pie skillet recipe. That was a treat and seemed easy enough to make with a little extra time. I agree on that risotto too. It does take some time but man was that good! Have a great weekend everyone.
ReplyDeleteDrooling on your food pics. I'm all about spackling this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm saving the links to read later today as I, too, am going downstairs to do a 30 minute exercise video while it's still gloomy out. This piriformis syndrome is literally a pain in my butt, so I need to move in hopes it'll help along with the shooting pain to my knee. A ride with the dogs after that, then laundry so it's done before the weekend begins. Then the usual grocery shopping and working this weekend. Enjoy the weekend and hopefully some cooler temps along with it!
ReplyDeleteJust finished the articles... so good! That cabin was amazing, and the house even more so!! Excellent reads all around. =o)
