What I'm Reading This Week #21
Happy Friday all! I am beyond thrilled to not having to babysit seedlings indoors anymore. I know I need to babysit them outside now but I am going to have to do some serious research on how to stop algae and white mold because I feel like I tried all of the tricks and nothing helped. I can't wait for them to actually bloom. Well, my cantaloupe have flowers on them. I guess I'll have to get some knee high panty hose to hang them from on the trellis. I'll be keeping my eye on those bucket crops because I know it won't be long before critters try to come after them and when they do, I have insect nets waiting for them. HISS! My weekend was alright
ReplyDeleteI went to visit my grandmother and was able to replace items I lost in the water damage. I also helped de-hoard her attic as bit (she's not actually a "Hoarders" (thoe show) hoarder but there's a ridiculous amount of stuff in that house. I've made a plan on how to deal with some of it - I'm finally going to learn how to ebay it seems... and some will be donated and some trashed.
On a happier note, I beat my personal record (PR) in a 5mi road race by about 3 min.
My goals: pick up my apartment, hit my workouts
I didn't do much. Ran some errands, picked up the house a bit, took the boy to the pool. Mostly it was just about getting ready to go back to work today. I really could have used a 2 week spring break, one week just wasn't nearly long enough.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good weekend but did go by way too fast as usual! I definitely need to plan the meals ahead this week to make sure I stay on target and try to get out of this current set of numbers I'm in.
