Non Scale Victories This Week

During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses.  I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses.  My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights.  Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through.  On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower.  I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. Yes Please! - Weigh In

I'm down 2 1/2 lbs this week so I have 10 lbs until I kiss the 3's goodbye...FOR-EVAH!  Very happy about that and hoping to knock off a goodly amount for the last weigh in of the month next week.  I love 5 weigh in months.  It feels like I get a little extra gift.  For now, I'm right on target for the zipline goal which I'm very thankful for.  Again, I don't ever do number oriented goals but I'd really love to hit this one so I can go screaming over the Kaanapali valley or Akaka Falls!  WOOT!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Stay cool if you're in the heat wave.  It's off to the farmers market for us!

  2. Way to go!!!! Congratulations on such a great weigh in! You'll be in the 2's before you know it and will be ziplining with glee! We are planning a Smoky Mountains trip this fall and I hear there is a tubing place that you start at the top of the mountain, tube down it and the shuttle takes you back up to your car. If the weight limit is right for me, I think I'm going to give that a shot.
