The Story Before the Bathroom Reveal

Y'all, it has been a ride. Why are all of our renos involving trades always held up?  Now I could understand the kitchen reno which began March 16, 2020 which is the week all hell broke loose.  The kitchen wasn't finished until July that year and it really had nothing to do with the pandemic.  There were quality control issues with two doors and if you think I was settling for lint sealed under clear coat and the same two holes caused by an industrial stapler on three remakes of a door, you're nuts.  We actually redid our bathroom in 2022.  Do you remember?  Probably not because I hated it so much I never did a reveal!  The deep ocean blue was a pain in my ample ass and for almost three years because it never stopped running.  We had white chair railing and water from drying our hands or showers constantly dripped blue and would pool on top of the white railing sending me into fits on the daily.  Because we'd gone through three different blue...

Hump Day Poll: Thank you Easter Bunny...

If you answered "bock bock" you are officially awesome.  If you have no friggin' clue what I'm referring to click here.

Hump Day multi-question Poll.

Do you still get Easter bunnies?  Solid or hollow?  What flavor?  Is that what you've always gotten or have your tastes changed as you got older?  Do you bite off the ears, butt or just go for it wherever the teeth land?

For me:

Yes
Hollow (Lindt) though I prefer solid but you know, calories delicious points.
I flip back and forth between dark and milk.  This year it's milk.
I went through a few years as a tween that I wanted white chocolate but that phase is long gone.
Nothing like a good piece of tail so that's where I start if I'm feeling sassy.

Your turn.

  1. Bock Bock! Yes. Solid milk chocolate. Same one I have always gotten except for a period of time where it was just easier to go with Russel Stover instead. Now it's worth the effort to get the original! I bite the ears off because with the bunny I get, the butt is extra thick chocolate so its to be saved for last. I am so looking forward to my bunny this year too. Yum!

  2. I do not do the bunnies, although I have some memories of having some yummy hollow ones as a kid. The hubs bought one a few years ago for himself (Ghiardelli I think) and it sat in the fridge for two years! LOL I finally had to pitch it. He's still working on finishing his Christmas candies, so maybe those will be gone by 4th of July. Bhahahaha!!

  3. I never had one of the big ones as a kid and always wanted one. So when my son was old enough he got a giant one in his basket. I ended up throwing it away around Halloween the next fall. Then did it again. lol. Then I learned. The small Reeses bunnies are good, but neither of us is going to eat a whole chocolate bunny.
