What I'm Reading This Week #21
Happy Friday all! I am beyond thrilled to not having to babysit seedlings indoors anymore. I know I need to babysit them outside now but I am going to have to do some serious research on how to stop algae and white mold because I feel like I tried all of the tricks and nothing helped. I can't wait for them to actually bloom. Well, my cantaloupe have flowers on them. I guess I'll have to get some knee high panty hose to hang them from on the trellis. I'll be keeping my eye on those bucket crops because I know it won't be long before critters try to come after them and when they do, I have insect nets waiting for them. HISS! ReplyDeleteYeah, 1 and 4 at home. When traveling the calm app has some good nature white noise backgrounds we set to run for 8 hours.
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 and I'd ad a #6, which is complete darkness. Back in the day I used to put VHS tapes in front of the VCR so I couldn't see the clock on the VCR. lol Even wearing my eye masks I can see slivers of light and I get twitchy.
ReplyDeleteNo TV or music. I can fall asleep with it but get annoyed if I wake up to it lol
ReplyDeleteMy closest would be #5. There is never complete silence. I can hear the dog cleaning his paws, my partner breathing loudly, the forced air furnace kicking in in the winter or the ceiling fan in the summer. If I'm having trouble sleeping then I will ask the google home to play thunder storm sounds for about 30 minutes. That normally does it.
