What I'm Reading This Week #33
Good morning to you! Friday is finally here and that's a good reason to take a hooky day. You know, for mental health reasons. 😁 Remember when it felt like you had to give an actual excuse when you wanted to call in back in the day? Then if you said you were sick and you really just wanted to go to lunch, a movie and maybe hit the grocery store on the way home, you had to pray you didn't run into anyone from work to bust you, like it was illegal or something. 🙄 I guess that's something that's changed for the better is not having to lie about why you're out. The workouts this week have been absolutely kicking our butts! We thought the band workout was hard then I was like "we should do Powerstrike to see where we are". Long before pumpkin spice was a movement I loved pumpkin cookies. Then you made chocolate chip pumpkin brookies and I am hooked. When can I get more? :-)

ReplyDeleteThere's only one place I like for apple cider donuts, so that's first on my list. Vegetable beef soup, banana bread, pumpkin bread, and cranberry bread are a must too.

ReplyDeletePotato soup and chili are two of my fall/winter favorites. I love grilled cheese, but since I have it so often on summer break I think of it as more of a summer food than a fall food.
I'm a fan of pumpkin spice, but they have taken it way too far. When I saw "pumpkin spice ham" at the deli last year I was done.
