It's hard going from none, being upset with how far your strength capacity has plummeted and discouraged to making sure you stick with it every week. June was 2x week until the final week trying to build a base and then the final week and through July we went to 3x week. This past week, I tried to up it for most exercises to 15 lbs. Happy Halloween! I read that John Candy article earlier in the week and was so impressed with his kids. Planes, Trains & Automobiles is one of my favorite movies...have never not cried at the end.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I have on tap for the weekend other than my meeting. Definitely need to get the laundry done and send some emails about the furniture I'm needing to get rid of (got a good response from one resale lady for a few items-and she'll come pick them up! Here's hoping she'll like the good price I gave her...fingers crossed).
Oh wait, what am I saying... I know what I'll be doing for the next three evenings. My tookus will be glued to the chair watching the Cubs at home in the World Series (that is unless I'm jumping up and down screaming -- hopefully in glee). =o)
