Non Scale Victories This Week

During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses.  I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses.  My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights.  Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through.  On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower.  I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. What were your non scale victories so far this week? ==================== Get posts sent straight to your inbox on Follow It . Best of Fitness Blender: Greatest HIIT's

Time for the next edition of the Best of Fitness Blender.  This one focuses on HIIT training.  Now my legs can rarely take the constant pounding of full on HIIT training but these are easily modified so even I can do them.

Total Body Toning Strength and HIIT Cardio Workout - You vs You  (34 minutes.  This requires free weights as it's both HIIT and toning.)

HIIT Cardio and Abs Workout - Insane At Home Fat Burner - Interval Cardio Training and Core  (45 minutes.  Bodyweight only, no equipment required.  The abs are KILLER on this one!)

1000 Calorie Workout - HIIT Cardio, Strength, Kickboxing and Abs Workout to Burn 1000 Calories  (64 minutes.  This is a mash up of different styles but a real butt kicker if you're wanting a total body workout)

HIIT Like a Girl Round 2 - Fat Burning HIIT Cardio Workout  (28 minutes.  No equipment required.  If you can't do high impact, this can be modified down with some creativity.)

Comprehensive Total Body HIIT Cardio and Core Workout  (39 minutes.  No equipment required.  It's a true HIIT workout so be prepared to sweat and/or yak.)

That's it for my round up.  If these aren't your cup of tea, you can peruse Fitness Blender.com and see what is!

(I am in no way affiliated with Fitness Blender, I'm just blogging about them because we use their awesome workouts all the time and in their support us section they encourage word of mouth to keep it free.)
