What I'm Reading This Week #24
Sup y'all! Welcome to flop sweat season (and Friday!) I hope you had a good week and stayed cool. I had to wave the flag and pull all of the 'impatiens' I grew from seed as that is not the plant I apparently bought. I'm still going round with the people I got them from because dammit, I want a refund. So I had to go to the nursery and get regular impatiens to replace the ones I pulled. It's already nicer to see actual color instead of looking out everyday and wonder WTF they're going to turn into other than some rando plant with a thick, juicy stem. Not that the ones I got look a ton better as they too are leggy. I don't know what the deal is with that. I also grabbed some chives half off to plant with the zinnias to keep the aphids at bay. Who knows if it'll actually work or not, we'll see. Now let's see: 9 Foot Exercises to Try at Home (I've been doing these over the last week and oochie owie for my weak azz feet...
I've used a few of the videos over at spark, and I downloaded some quickie ST ones to my Kindle Fire. I like those videos well enough, but I'd rather walk or swim or mow the lawn, or go to a zumba class, or... Yeah, just about anything else. To me they're kind of like that horrible tasting medicine that you know is going to make you feel better tomorrow, but today it just really sucks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this!! I just found Blogilates the other day and for some reason it didn't cross my mind that there were other free workout sites. I completely agree about Cassey though. Sometimes you just really need to be in the right mood for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the share..i keep looking for some..and now that I have a HDMI cable..definitely worth investing in these free videos and I can plug it into the TV,,
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I'm going to bookmark all these pages! Always looking for a new way to mix it up. THANKS!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've liked many of the video workouts on FitSugar (http://www.fitsugar.com/fitness-video). A lot of quick 10-minute ones. A lot on YouTube as well. With my Roku and my PlayLater service, I can save them to my computer, then stream them to the TV in my gym.
