Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. I so wish there was more we could do to move the bathroom project along. It's so frustrating that nothing else can be done until they do the shower install but my energy level is high right now and it's frustrating to not be able to do anything yet. Oh well I just need to be patient. Have a great weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteMe too, though I know I have to get a move on with the vanity. Sigh.
DeleteNot one trick or treater. Halloween is a tough day for me, too many memories.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
Aww, I'm sorry. Big hugs and I hope it stings even a tiny bit less than yesterday. 🫂
DeleteI live out in a very rural area, so we rarely get trick or treaters. This being said, in the midwest, trick or treating is very much alive, and the small towns usually get quite a few trick or treaters. My inlaws went through 150 full size candy bards last year passing them out. I haven't checked with them this year to hear their totals.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I bet the kiddies love their house! That's a lotta moolah. I'm glad to hear it's still alive and well somewhere. We live in a big city so I really don't get it.
DeleteWe live out in the country so no trick or treaters. Although our grocery store offered treats for the kids. Seeing them in their costumes was great. No real plans this weekend. Hoping Sunday the weather is clear so we can get our morning walk in.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any visitors at all. We can always count on 2 kids coming but not this year. Bummed about that. This weekend I'll be writing up some training notes for work, but will leave everything else for Monday. Have 2 loads of laundry done, so 2 more to go. Thanksgiving list, and filing I've put off for way too long. Church on Sunday, than a nap.😊 I hope you guys have a good weekend of productivity and some relaxation time sprinkled in!
