What I'm Reading This Week #31

Anyone out there doing the happy Friday booty poppin' dance?  I hope so!  My brain is officially on hiatus so I'm going to get right to:

Knee Pain Going Down Stairs? Here’s What Your Body’s Trying to Tell You (Mine's trying to say "woman, I know you can fit in a 15 minute strength session!")

The Windshield Wiper Exercise Takes Your Ab Workouts to the Next Level. (This is seriously one of my favorite ab exercises.  I do them with my knees bent though.  I guess I'll need to work up to straight legs.)

25 Tasty Dinner Meal Prep Recipes You Can Make Ahead  (Definitely need to find an hour or two to get meal prep dishes done again.  There's just ZERO energy to cook at 9pm or later and I don't want to end up turning to fast food for convenience)

7 Surprising Things You’re Probably Doing That Are Damaging Your Pelvic Floor  (Sadly, cell phones are dirtier than public toilet seats so just sitcho azz down or we always have these in glove compartment for porta potties because eww!)

How To Be As Supportive As Possible When Your Partner Needs It  (Thank God I have the most supportive partner ever)

21 Simple & Effective Ways To Ground Yourself, According To Mental Health Experts  (Singing outloud and laughing at dog videos?  On it.)

15 romantic design ideas for garden beds and borders  (OMG, 9, 14 and 15!  Le swooooon!  I so wish I had a field so I could skip along and chucking wildflower seeds everywhere to enjoy in the coming years.)

21 Travel Tips That Will Ensure Your Trip is a Success  (Gotta disagree with you on #3 Sam.  You never stick anything in that anyway because it's a germ pit but get one of these babies and you can actually use it!)

How to Survive a Killer Asteroid  (Dude, after last month, I'd probably run toward it!)

A big hug to my bestie who had to send her sweet boy to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.  Any of us who have/had pets know how difficult that is.  My other friend's favorite aunt died and it looks like her husband might be gearing up for a cancer battle.  I got around to finally sending condolences to my cousin on the loss of his dad and basically got back a shocking declaration of what a shitty man he was and now his family was free.  😳 Um... okay, great catching up with you!

I would like a break from illness and general life crap for me and my friends please.   Yeesh.

What's on tap for your weekend?

  1. Thank you so much, love. This past month has been horrific for both of us, you far more than me. I'm telling you...never again will I start the new year with, "I hope this year is better than last year." Because the answer always seems to be a big fat no!!
Sending you all the love, support, and strength your heart can hold to get through the weekend. I'm thinking about you constantly and am holding your hand and giving your squeezes when you need them. xoxoxoxo
