Hobbly Weekend Recap
Hello Monday. The start of a new week is upon us. source The Mr's back was not happy and getting worse Friday so he had to break down and go to the chiropractor. He said it's the ligament that runs over his SI joint and it's inflamed. He told him to use ice over heat, cold lasered him and yanked his bum leg. He's been using the shoulder migraine ice pack I got him for Christmas on his lower back held in place by the back brace belt from the last SI joint flare up. He couldn't really do a whole lot so we shared a blood supply with the couch most of the day Saturday. We finally decided to go poke around the garden center just to get out of the house and get some movement. OMG, the prices!!! Flats are 12 plants less than they used to be for $3 more or $6 more if you want the old amount. Plants are $5 a pop for a tomato or basil plant. Yay, but with some serious willpower involved cause that stuff can get out of hand real quick in the form of calories per tablespoon.
ReplyDeleteTopic can make me crazy. I have no problem with people using it in baking. But parents who put it on toast for kids for breakfast, as if it were the same as peanut butter, really make me mad. It is basically frosting. No kid should grow up thinking that taste is āfoodā.
ReplyDeleteNay. Both the hubs and I tried it with high hopes and neither one of us liked it, so into the garbage it went. I think we are in the minority with that opinion though.
