Non Scale Victories This Week

During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses.  I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses.  My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights.  Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through.  On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower.  I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. What were your non scale victories so far this week? ==================== Get posts sent straight to your inbox on Follow It . What I'm Reading This Week #37

Happy Friday everyone!

It's been a productive week around here and I think we might be in the home stretch on the basement.  The Mr has been a furniture making machine and everything is looking good.  Hopefully, we get the flooring in this weekend and can be done.

If y'all could send out some positive vibes to the Mr for his big test tomorrow, we'd appreciate it.  It will be nice for him to take a breather before the next test.  Sunday we have a combo birthday lunch for us with my mom.

What do you guys have on tap for the weekend?

  2. Good luck on the test! I'm sure you'll ace it. The hub's cuzzos are coming over tomorrow for a barbeque, bonfire and sleepover. Haven't seen them in a few years so should be fun!
Hood luck on the floor, looking forward to the reveal!

  4. Good luck to the Mr. on his test!!!! Have a victory dinner afterwards. =o) This weekend will be monitoring our pooch with her injuries, while attempting to get chores done. Lawn cutting and laundry today and grocery shopping tomorrow. I haven't touched the mail or anything and my table is piled with vet stuff so I need to sort through all that to get it back to organized again. Good weather weekend before it gets warm again next week. I'm itching to get to the apple orchard but I just can do it when it's too warm out -- doesn't feel right. LOL
Have a great weekend and good luck with the basement project coming to a close. It's going to look awesome!!
