Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program. We have officially been doing strength training again for two full months. I've got to admit, I'm proud of us. It's hard going from none, being upset with how far your strength capacity has plummeted and discouraged to making sure you stick with it every week. June was 2x week until the final week trying to build a base and then the final week and through July we went to 3x week. This past week, I tried to up it for most exercises to 15 lbs. ReplyDeleteAhh, Jiffy. The white frosted cake always reminds me of the Easy Bake Oven cakes with the lightbulb. =o) I saw the video on our local news of the escapee dog -- a hoot! Great articles. I smiled about the pickles after sweating -- I'm all in! That is my go-to snack (and is it sick to say that I like pickle juice and pepperoncini juice? Yes, yes it is you sicko. lol)
ReplyDeleteWe cut the grass today after work so the weekend would be more free -- yippee!! I'm sore as heck and don't have it in me to have dinner, so I will be going to sleep soon. I'm leading a meeting tomorrow morning, then we're heading the burbs to get some things done. I am soooooo happy to have that lawn done, so that will put me in a good mood every time I go outside.
