  3. Thanks for the reading list! I'll read them asap.

I found something interesting in the grocery store yesterday, that I hadn't seen before. We had given up on salt substitutes as they taste horrible, but when I saw a brand called Diamond Crystal that is real salt but with 33% less sodium, I had to try it. My hubby says he can still taste the bitter aftertaste (they add stuff to it, including the potassium that makes most salt substitutes bitter), but he was tasting the salt alone. I tried it on my eggs this morning and it was fine. Maybe not for margaritas, but fine with food, lol.

  4. I'd really like that metabolic testing. I can't seem to figure out why I am busting my arse and not losing. In the past month I am down only like 1.5 pounds. I have been eating so well and drinking boatloads of water and doing my workouts, even going to bed earlier (that's always been hard for me because the evening is the only free time I ever get and I like to stay up) and every day my weight is between 188 and 189. Sometimes I wonder if I exercise too much, but then that week I didn't workout a lot my weight stayed the same. I seem to gain weight instantly if I just barely eat over my calories. I read where a person who was overweight, even when they get to their goal weight, will always have to eat less just to maintain that weight. It's kind of disheartening. I eat around 1600 calories most days and at night my stomach is growling. I don't know how I can eat much less and work out as much as I do without feeling awful.
