Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. ReplyDeleteLet's all give the finger to January! New month, new hope.
ReplyDeleteNot trying to cheer you up. But you still impress the $*(W# out of me.
ReplyDeleteI am going through the same thing. I don't understand it. I am up 2 pounds from last week. I worked out every single day in January. Sometimes I feel like what is the damn point of doing all this work when it doesn't seem to matter. Apparently I will never get to my goal weight unless I starve myself.
ReplyDeleteI've had a cold for two weeks. Up eight pounds. Iget it.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I always found the double finger gesture to be particularly restorative. (What's sad is that I'm not kidding. :))
ReplyDeleteI'm playing catch up on my reader and am happy for you that the foot and related muscles are cooperating!
That's good, cuz I hate it when you need cheering up when I'm in the crapper. lol You know I love ya! *hugs*
