What I'm Reading This Week #35

Howdy do and happy last Friday of August!  I hope you had a good week and if your weather was like ours, it was FINALLY under 93 degrees.  Don't get me wrong, I know sweater weather isn't here but it was nice to not have the AC working overtime (set to 76) starting at 11am every day!   It was nice to not walk out to water the garden and walk into a wall of humidity so I will take what I can get.    Speaking of which: With this 3" San Marzano , I shall be able to make enough sauce to cover 7.3 spaghetti noodles. 😒 Now let's get to: How to Stock Your Pantry for Quick & Easy Meals in Minutes   (Ooh, I need to crockpot some black beans for some sweet potato black bean burritos.) Sooo close - Weigh In

I lost 2 lbs this week!  (insert rump poppin' dance here)

If I can lose 2 lbs next week I can hit my goal and be in new BIG numbers next weekend.  The problem with this  is we're not going to be able to weigh in on our normal day so weigh in would have to be Friday and I can seriously lose a pound overnight.  (I usually knew what I weighed Friday could be down a pound like clockwork on Saturday)  So it's very possible if I hit it, I wouldn't know it.  Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind to bring the scale with us but it's a big ol' doctors office plug in scale and I wouldn't want to screw up the calibration in it so I'll just have to hope for the best Friday.  I just really wanted to be able to celebrate new numbers by the end of the month.  We'll see.

  3. AL- That'll be after a high cal day so weighing in Monday is a sure miss. We'll just make sure we hit all of our targets this week for sure and hope for the best.
