Howdy do and happy last Friday of August! I hope you had a good week and if your weather was like ours, it was FINALLY under 93 degrees. Don't get me wrong, I know sweater weather isn't here but it was nice to not have the AC working overtime (set to 76) starting at 11am every day! It was nice to not walk out to water the garden and walk into a wall of humidity so I will take what I can get. The car mat thing really works. I used it YEARS ago when I was in college. Our hall parking lot was on a huge slope and of course, I was parked down the slope with front tires against the curb/median of the parking lot when an overnight ice and snow storm blasted us. Needless to say, backing up the slope was a fruitless venture and I had just read about using the car mats not long before. I jumped out, put a mat under/behind both back tires, put it in reverse and voila! I was out. I did however have to look for one of the mats that had become a projectile during the adventure! I found it though and was quickly on my way!
