My Favorite Products That Make My Life Easier
I'm sure you probably know from today to Friday (11th) is Prime Day. If you remember my post about how I can keep this place up and running yearly, you know unfortunately Amazon is really the only way I can make that happen since I'm considered a 'mini' blogger. My sassy thoughts doth not jibe with sponsors, my following is small (which I love actually) so Amazon affiliate links are the only way I can hit that target. I will say that due to tariff pauses expiring at the end of day today, prices could go way up tomorrow (9th) so I would encourage you to buy today even though Prime Day doesn't end until the 11th. Favorite dinner this week was hamburgers/ no bun, with sauteed zucchini and yellow beans in garlic butter.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I made our own marinade from the lemon verbena we picked up at our CSA and grilled up some lemon chicken. I'm trying to lose the "last 10" so it's been very, very low carb for the past week.
ReplyDeleteThis week has been truly uninspired. I can't think of a single meal I want to share. Tonight we're having a chicken/veggie stir fry or sweet & sour chicken. That will probably be the best meal of the week.
ReplyDeleteTues and Wed are my favorites this week! Do you make your own crab stuffing for the flounder? Love the look of the vegetables all week!! Also, how did you like the Coho salmon? Was it fresh or frozen? Seems I can only get farm-raised Atlantic or fresh Sockeye, which I'd love to buy but it's been $14.99 a lb. I saw that Coho salmon is on sale this week. Tons o' bones? Flavor?

Oh that's cute. No, I get the flounder frozen at Trader Joe's but it tastes just as good as when I had it back in the day at Red Lobster (when it used to be good). The coho salmon was frozen as well at TJ's and I only get it because it doesn't have the skin on it. (I HATE taking the skin off of fish!) But I also think the coho tastes more fishy but not as boney as other salmon. I looked at getting fresh to have the butcher take care of that for me but it was almost twice as much and I just can't justify that.
