We've been lucky enough to have snow to play in the past two weekends.  (Yes, we were the people out in zero degrees where you could only see our eyes.)  I don't know if we'll get that lucky this weekend but if not, I certainly have enough purging to keep me busy into the next few months.  So that is going to be my focus with a few breaks to get out of the house too because otherwise I go absolutely stir crazy.  Well, that's my plan.  We'll see how I did come Monday.

What are you up to this weekend?

  2. Great articles! Heartwarming, inspiring, and downright funny! We've had about 15 inches of snow since last weekend so most of our time has been trying to keep up with that. The dogs are not happy with the frigid temps (it was a wind chill of minus 26 this morning) so it's been the battle of the booties to get them outside to potty. So more of that this weekend along with a dental appt. for me tomorrow morning and inside chores with trips to Salvation Army planned (my kitchen floor piled with boxes will thank me). lol

Have a super weekend and stay warm if the temps go down like they are here!

  3. When I got a new furnace/AC this summer I practically begged the guy to put in a whole house humidifier, but he says that there simply isn't room in the closet where there furnace and water heater live. I must have asked him about it 4 different times, and he tried to be nice, but he finally flat out told me that to put one in he'd have to start cutting on walls and the ceiling and it would make a huge mess and cost like another $1000 for all the extra work. I almost wish I'd paid it. I run a humidifier in my bedroom, and open the windows for a few hours every weekend no matter how cold it is outside.

I like the lazy ways to get steps article. I kind of like the laundry one piece at a time thing. I'm in a step challenge at work (signed up in a moment of weakness, regretting it now since it's all public and I didn't know it was going to be) so maybe I'll try that for the duration. Parking farthest away from the store... umm, are these people never in a hurry? and no way am I spening longer in WalMart than I absolutely have to so no perimeter walking for me. I do kind of like the walk around the office building though, maybe I'll walk all the way around the school on my planning period.

The Netflix goofs were pretty funny. It reminded me of when they showed "Sausage Party" trailers by accident to people viewing a kids' movie. Oops.
