Non Scale Victories This Week

During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses.  I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses.  My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights.  Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through.  On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower.  I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. Sooo close - Weigh In

I lost 2 lbs this week!  (insert rump poppin' dance here)

If I can lose 2 lbs next week I can hit my goal and be in new BIG numbers next weekend.  The problem with this  is we're not going to be able to weigh in on our normal day so weigh in would have to be Friday and I can seriously lose a pound overnight.  (I usually knew what I weighed Friday could be down a pound like clockwork on Saturday)  So it's very possible if I hit it, I wouldn't know it.  Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind to bring the scale with us but it's a big ol' doctors office plug in scale and I wouldn't want to screw up the calibration in it so I'll just have to hope for the best Friday.  I just really wanted to be able to celebrate new numbers by the end of the month.  We'll see.

  3. AL- That'll be after a high cal day so weighing in Monday is a sure miss. We'll just make sure we hit all of our targets this week for sure and hope for the best.
