Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. I have no idea what to do to get out of the house but I do know that it's time for me to get to some of the house maintenance stuff that is due like filters and stuff. So I plan on getting that all done at some point. Have a great weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteMy snacks are nothing to write home about, but they get me through: Boars Head turkey breast lunch meat- 1 slice wrapped around a pickle (odd, I know, but the crunch is the key), 2 mandarin oranges (Halos, Cuties, etc) with a piece of cheddar cheese, 2 hard-boiled eggs, and lastly a sliced apple with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. I also due sliced tomatoes on a plate with minced garlic on top with a drizzle of olive oil, but I know you're not a 'mater fan.=o)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can get out and about for a while from the homestead. I'm heading out for a walk at my favorite park and then will come home and work on house stuff. Once I sit down, my knees will be toast so I'll take advantage of the daylight. lol Have a great weekend!!
