What I'm Reading This Week #34
Hello you sassy beast! Ready for another flip flappin' fantastic weekend? Yes indeedy, Ally Sheedy. It's been a week of working ahead for me as I try to work on ideas for holiday posts. I know, no one is ready for Christmas but spit balling stuff is actually getting me excited for the season. I like to try to give myself the month of December off from writing new posts (except updating weekly happenings) so all I have to do is respond if needed. It lets me take a little mental break during the holidays to try to enjoy what I can then hop back into the new year hopefully rested and ready to roll. We did book our 30th anniversary trip, which is the same one we had to cancel this year and of course got travel insurance. It's just nice to have something to hopefully look forward to and it makes you go "where the heck did 4 1/2 years go?" because it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 25th. Do people even celebrate their 30t...
That gif is hilarious. Instead of aunt flow it's the red ninja you gotta watch out for! Have a great weekend everybody!
ReplyDeleteIt's the red ninja YOU need to watch out for! LOL
DeleteYour food pics look amazing!! Those shrimp veggie rolls... and you remind me to get a "spaghetti night" back into the rotation. I've have zucchini noodles but not lentil noodles, hmmmmm.....
ReplyDeleteNot sure what we're doing this weekend. The blissfully cool two-ish days we just had in MA are getting replaced with the HHH weather once more, so I think it'll be a quiet weekend. DH's car got trashed by a deer last Sat morning, hood buckled/engine pushed in etc so we're down to a single car. Maybe a road trip/country drive with a packed lunch.....
Have a great weekend!!! Mel
Oh no! So sorry to hear about hubby's car! I think a picnic sounds like a perfect pick me up!
DeleteI have no plans other than buying a new home and birthday gift for the same person. I know where I'm going so we'll see how my knee handles that. May have to put off the one store if it flares up. It's rainy and muggy here so that may limit my drive with the pups. Today's exciting event is laundry so it's done for the weekend. Then it's work for us this weekend. Super busy and exciting as you can see...bhahahahaha!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAt first I read it that you were buying a new home and was like 'WHAT?!' I hope the knee does well and brace up if you get any twinges.
DeleteDitto on the food pics. Amazing. I can almost smell them thru the web. Another great blog post. Thanks 🙏
ReplyDeleteTake a long whiff of that thai sauce, it's AMAZING! (low sodium chicken broth, natural peanut butter and a squirt of sriracha)
DeleteHave a great weekend! No plans here
