Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. I love Twix and this did kind of remind me of it, but I agree that it just could use a lot more of that for it to truly be a treat that I would crave again, but if you are on a mega strict diet and this is your only solace then I think this would be great in that scenario.
ReplyDeleteI'm such a plain ice cream person and like the basic flavors (BOR-ing!), but the hubs loves the candy ice creams. As for candy bars, I like Kit-Kat (although they aren't as crispy as they used to be I've noticed), Twix,
ReplyDeleteWhatchamacallit, and Hershey's Chocolate with Almonds. Oh! And Nestle Chunky bars with the raisins -yum!
Speaking of self control.... I wouldn't even be able to wait the few minutes required for the ice cream to soften up a bit.
ReplyDeleteDidn’t like this one. Love the chocolate peanut butter version. But I never was a candy and ice cream fan. I can’t buy these unless it’s a special occasion, I have zero self control!
