What I'm Reading This Week #34
Hello you sassy beast! Ready for another flip flappin' fantastic weekend? Yes indeedy, Ally Sheedy. It's been a week of working ahead for me as I try to work on ideas for holiday posts. I know, no one is ready for Christmas but spit balling stuff is actually getting me excited for the season. I like to try to give myself the month of December off from writing new posts (except updating weekly happenings) so all I have to do is respond if needed. It lets me take a little mental break during the holidays to try to enjoy what I can then hop back into the new year hopefully rested and ready to roll. We did book our 30th anniversary trip, which is the same one we had to cancel this year and of course got travel insurance. It's just nice to have something to hopefully look forward to and it makes you go "where the heck did 4 1/2 years go?" because it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 25th. Do people even celebrate their 30t...
ugh, yeah that was such a fake taste that I just couldn't even finish my first bite. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from it. I still think a good peanut butter yogurt could be good but it would need at least a little real sugar in it for me.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably try it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. I like vanilla and I really like peach. I buy whichever brand is on sale that week so that pretty much determines what flavors I have on hand. I'll skip Oikos peanut butter though now, so thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't try peanut butter in yogurt. I pretty much stick to cherry, peach, and triple berry. As much as I really like strawberries and bananas, I do not like that combo together for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI would probably take a plain yogurt and add PB2 powder to it. I really like yogurt but prefer to take plain and use it as a base.
ReplyDeleteIn general, I don't like foods that pretend to be something they aren't. So if you tell me you are peanut butter and banana but contain neither, I'm not interested. I'd rather put a spoon of peanut butter and half a banana in a bowl of yogurt and mash it all together. I don't need the sugar or sweetener.
ReplyDeleteAnd can I just say I hate that a product claims to have no artificial sweeteners but contains stevia? It seems like a technicality because it may be natural but it tastes artificial.
