Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. TJ's knows how to do the pumpkin flavors for the most part. The one thing that comes to mind in which they did not have a winner was when we tried those pumpkin spice chocolate sea salt caramels - not a good combo of flavors.
ReplyDeleteI like pretty much all things pumpkin and apple. I'll be doing applesauce in the crockpot pretty soon. We like it well enough and eat it, but mostly I make it because the house smells so pretty. You can light all the candles you want, nothing is the same as the smell of actual cooking.
ReplyDeleteDrink up that blackstrap molasses for your joints momma and they will feel good. =o) I LOVE that pumpkin pasta -- too flipping cute! I have to say something that's new on the market that I'm absolutely loving is JIF's Cinnamon Peanut Butter. Holy macaroons does it taste good! I've only seen it in "smooth" and it's just wonderful. The cinnamon really stands out in it and it's just perfect for this time of year. Yum!!
