Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. TGIF! I really hope this weekend goes slower than most. I need a break from the work week that feels substantial. I don't even care what we do just need it to feel like a 4 day weekend somehow. If only! Have a great weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be 80 degrees in these parts, so need to get the debris cover off the a/c unit in case we need to run it. Work, grocery shopping, and laundry today, and haircut for the pooch. Tomorrow will be house cleaning and I might try to tackle the remaining cabinet pulls to finish that project. Also need to work in the spare room to keep working towards turning that into my work space. Sunday is church, the hubs works, and hopefully a nap in the afternoon. =o)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, and I hope you get out and about a wee bit!
