Non Scale Victories This Week
During last night's LIIFT 4 Shoulders workout, I saw an improvement over last weeks shoulder presses. I was unable to do the 2nd and 3rd sets last week overhead after about 3-4 presses. My left shoulder would literally fall like I'd lost all muscle control with 10 lb weights. Yesterday I used the same 10 lbs and it wasn't until the 7th rep on the second set that I started to feel bad fatigue but pushed through. On the third set my shoulders were shot but I was still able to push overhead even if slower. I pushed to fatigue but didn't have that dangerous muscle drop I had before. The zinnias I grew from seed are mostly in full bloom and I took some pics before cutting some to put in a little vase. Happy 4th of July to you as well!! Enjoy the beautiful day! I am working, the hubs is not. We had a power outage this morning so we were dealing with that. Hopefully that's over now and he can enjoy the day with the pups. No grilling...we haven't actually grilled once this year yet.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday celebration!
Happy 4th everyone! Guess our plan to chill today was not in the cards but at least we got some serious headway into projects!
ReplyDeleteToday was not a relaxing day. It's after midnight and I'm taking a break from stuff I'm still trying to get done before we leave for a week tomorrow. Mount Rushmore (and other SD sites) this time. Gotta love a road trip on zero sleep. My own *** fault, but now I'm paying for it. I hope your 4th was uneventful - we konw we are truly middle age when we hope for "boring" holidays.
