What I'm Reading This Week #34

Hello you sassy beast!  Ready for another flip flappin' fantastic weekend?  Yes indeedy, Ally Sheedy. It's been a week of working ahead for me as I try to work on ideas for holiday posts.  I know, no one is ready for Christmas but spit balling stuff is actually getting me excited for the season.  I like to try to give myself the month of December off from writing new posts (except updating weekly happenings) so all I have to do is respond if needed.  It lets me take a little mental break during the holidays to try to enjoy what I can then hop back into the new year hopefully rested and ready to roll.   We did book our 30th anniversary trip, which is the same one we had to cancel this year and of course got travel insurance.  It's just nice to have something to hopefully look forward to and it makes you go "where the heck did 4 1/2 years go?" because it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 25th.  Do people even celebrate their 30t...

Help me get to 100!

See that little column on the right that says "people who are awesome?"  (Provided the widget is working correctly...curse you Blogger!)  It's the 57 awesome people who are "following" me.  See the number of "savvy subscribers?"  Those are the people who get my ramblings delivered via email or in a reader on their homepages.

I'm trying to get to 100 and I'll even do a little giveaway for hitting the number.

So subscribe if you like my ramblings!  Encourage others to subscribe if you think they might like my ramblings!  I'll make it worth your while.  :-)

Also, I just want to check.  Is posting recipes a waste of time?  I know there's not much you can really say about a healthier recipe that you haven't tried yet but wasn't sure if anyone really paid attention to them or not other than me!  HA!

    To answer your question about recipes... I enjoy seeing your recipes. I may not always use them, but they do give me some great ideas that I had not thought of.. for example the yummy looking salad dressing you posted yesterday or day before. Anyway, thanks for continuing to share your story.

    I do look at the recipes, I use your fries one all the time. I don't always try them, but I check out every one.

    You know I'll follow you to the ends of the earth (and back hopefully), but I won't "follow" because it means giving up my gmail address which is my real name, and I'm funny about that. It doesn't look like it'll let me use my hotmail account like I do for comments.

    I like the recipes a lot. I'm not terribly creative and I have a hubs who is very steak and potatoes, so I need to get us both out of a rut. Keep 'em comin' hot stuff!

    I love recipes. I may or may not use them and if I do, in all likelihood, I'll personalize them a bit, but I absolutely love them!
