What I'm Reading This Week #34
Hello you sassy beast! Ready for another flip flappin' fantastic weekend? Yes indeedy, Ally Sheedy. It's been a week of working ahead for me as I try to work on ideas for holiday posts. I know, no one is ready for Christmas but spit balling stuff is actually getting me excited for the season. I like to try to give myself the month of December off from writing new posts (except updating weekly happenings) so all I have to do is respond if needed. It lets me take a little mental break during the holidays to try to enjoy what I can then hop back into the new year hopefully rested and ready to roll. We did book our 30th anniversary trip, which is the same one we had to cancel this year and of course got travel insurance. It's just nice to have something to hopefully look forward to and it makes you go "where the heck did 4 1/2 years go?" because it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 25th. Do people even celebrate their 30t...
"doing Amy Dixon's Breathless Body" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, I love going to your blog I laugh out loud at least once every post! I get to have something sweet on Saturday evening, I'm trying to think what I should get?!? Those cookies look spledifurous!
ReplyDeleteSo I saw "Inception" weeks ago and it definitely has you guessing all the way through Make sure you're not at all sleepy when you watch though!
ReplyDeleteAs for delicious things I ate today: I had a Tagalong (2 actually lol) and plain greek yogurt with cinnamon and splenda and an apple lol
Ok, so can you please post the recipe for the loco moco, I tried to find it via google and had no luck. What the heck is it anyways.
ReplyDeleteDon't think me dumb but I read your email everyday and often want to comment but thought it was a huge hassle to open your blog, and sign in and all that...well DUH! All I had to do was click on the title or I think a couple other places brought me right here and now I am doing, "I will be back." Said in a very Arnold sort of way. LOL!
BTW NATF, it is me PONYFARMER from SP.
ReplyDeleteCzesia- I know, I read it and was like "oh, THAT didn't sound good!" Glad I didn't write "the Mr and both did Amy Dixon's Breathless Body!" HA!
ReplyDeleteAJ- Loved Inception! Joseph Gordon Levitt is dreamy. Sounds yummy!
Deborah- Looking forward to seeing more of ya! The recipe will be coming up in the next few weeks, hang in there, it'll be worth it, I promise! :)
Reeses peanut butter cups--10 points for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm not touching Amy Dixon's Breathless Body with a 10-foot pole! ;)
Great day. I looove loco moco and nutella and Better than Peanut butter, lol. Great job not peaking at the scale as well. That's always hard for me. I gave in today then saw a number I didn't want to see and not I'm in a fould mood. Booo! I learned my lesson though. No peaking!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Amy Dixon's Breathless body! HA! I've never heard of pea shoots before--do you buy them or do you grow them? I know lots of people who grow sprouts on their countertop and I always mean to try it myself.
ReplyDeleteMolasses cookies and hot chocolate sounds like a good way to end the day. :) I was weak all night this week and had an ice cream sandwich. My husband buys these things and then I can't resist! But I've been working out, so maybe it will balance out? Maybe?
