Friday night was the Husker's Volleyball game, (we won), and Saturday was another VB game (we won again), and got home just in time for Huskers football game out at Fresno State, which didn't start until 9:30 p.m.Talk about a late night! But it was fun to see the Huskers win easily for a change, so we stayed up for the whole game. Sunday, I went with Du for his haircut and had a nice chat with his barber, she is a nice girl with a sad life. We found Honeycrisp apples at a local grocery store, on sale for $1.99/lb. (after I had paid DOUBLE that earlier in the week at one of the chain stores), so we stocked up on those delicious little jewels. Looking forward to a quiet week, with a few doctor appts. for Du and me thrown in here and there. Hoping to get some relief from my knee pain with a physical therapy appt. tomorrow, before they try some shots that are supposed to help. Wish me luck!dupsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18088114640385927198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7381223979507114346.post-83767036028567289672014-09-15T09:16:03.502-04:002014-09-15T09:16:03.502-04:00Aww man, that stinks when you have a big one toget...Aww man, that stinks when you have a big one together. I have to say it really relieved my mind as well. You hear the word "inflatable" when it comes to SUP's and think there's no way it could hold up regardless of the weight limit but this thing was sturdy for sure. It is quite a beast at 14' but when the chick on the 9 footer said the bigger one was faster, that kind of made the (more expensive) decision. So good to know what the board will be like before buying one. And for anyone wondering, that board is an inflatable and you can see that it is not buckling under me and I am a big guy. That thing was solid and tracks straight. So if you don't have the room in the garage or just don't want to spend $600 on roof racks in addition to the cost of a board, that is the way to go!The Mr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04233628447251244134noreply@blogger.com
