  2. I've been reading (grading) kids' papers and I'm always reading at least one book. Right now it's a creepy one that I can't read right before bedtime. I had to turn on an old episode of Friends last night in order to be able to sleep.

  3. I just finished Eleanor & Park, a young adult novel by Rainbow Rowell, who happens to be a cousin of mine. It is a wonderfully well written novel, about two 16-year-olds and their journey as they fall madly and deeply in love, meeting and beating obstacles along the way, and hoping that their love can last forever. Now I'm going to start Rainbow's first novel,a novel written for adults called Attachments. I hope it is as good as Eleanor & Park. I also sadly bought two books about prostate cancer, since hubby was just diagnosed. We are beginning a totally different kind of journey today than Eleanor & Park experienced, as we're heading out this morning for CT and PET scans. Wish us luck. (I think one of the reasons I loved E&P so much, is because it reminded me of hubby & my own's experience as we fell in love as teenagers, over 40 years ago. Sometimes that first love does last!

  6. I'm reading a fun romance story as well as a very good book called The Compulsive Overeater. I also do daily read books for both Al-Anon and OA and those are always good. Funny how the day I pick to read is exactly what I need to see at that exact moment. Cracks me up every time!

  7. Great articles, thanks for sharing, I am reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I usually have about 3 books going and pick one depending on my mood each day.
