Giveaway: Ralph Lauren Gloves (Closed- Winner Announced)
***********************************************************************
Okay, I think this is the last Chicago post but I'll make it worth your while. While in the windy city, we stumbled upon Nordstrom Rack. I don't have one of these. I want one of these. Wait...I probably shouldn't because I bought like more friggin scarves than I know what to do with. Seriously, look...
That's 7 scarves. I'd better get to ironing!
But I also found these beautiful non-functional but super cute Ralph Lauren gloves while I was there. I thought they were so adorable, I bought a pair to give away here too! I almost bought a pair of really pretty ice blue ones but my practical side won and I got an off white that would go with almost any coat the winner could have.

Apparently it's a form of rayon. There. Fact learned for the day...check.
If you'd like to enter it's easy, just leave a comment below.
The contest is open until Tuesday, January 10th at 5pm EST. This is open to US residents only because I just spent way too much money at Sur La Table's blowout sale on myself and giveaways for later in the year and I gots to save a little scratch right now but I promise I'll have an international one later in the year. The winner will be selected by using a random number generator based on the number of entries. One entry per person please.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and good luck!

I wish my husband and I lived near a Nordstrom's. They have GREAT gifts, and I adore the gloves! They would go great with my red plaid peacoat
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm having issues with the comment section...I guess I should learn this. lol! Again gorgeous gloves!
ReplyDeleteI have just recently found your blog and look forward to reading daily. Thank you for sharing your journey.
ReplyDeleteOh I love scarves. You can never get enough scarves!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh I was just thinking I could use a new pair of pretty gloves to go with my new coat :) Love all your scarves too! Have a super groovy weekend :)

I've got scarves I've been saving for years, just in case their patterns are ever back in style! Right now I'm crocheting a long one that will act like a shawl for the cold long evenings. LOVE scarves!
ReplyDeleteSuper-cute gloves, too.
Cheri, aka VAMANOS from SP
No way, yesterday I just learned what "viscose" was as well (it's mixed with felt to make it nicer but not quite as nice as pure wool felt--look at us LEARN).
ReplyDeleteI have a glove tip for you, too. Guys gloves. They make stretch style gloves for guys (less stretchy then womens--a double bonus) and they're awesome on my long fingered hands (and they have more wrist length, too). They aren't fancy (but most stretch gloves aren't either!) and this time of year you can score them for about $1 a pair (good ole Kmart!).
I'd love some soft gloves :)
ReplyDeleteThe gloves are indeed adorable and I love your scarves too! Score! You'll have fun dressing yourself up for a while!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gloves, lovely taste! Would LOVE to win these!!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll take the gloves. Just go ahead and shut it down to make it less painful for everyone else. Ha! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI never put in on giveaways, I don't know why. But those gloves are gorgeous, so why not! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG lady, you have great taste! I'm just sayin'. Normally I just stalk you on SP and lurk on your real blog but the lure of a chance to win beautiful RL gloves was too much for me :-) Hope you're having a fabulous day~
ReplyDeleteThey would go so perfect with my new jacket this year!! Love that!
ReplyDeleteThose gloves are beautiful! I will find a way to wear them in Houston. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are GORGEOUS! Love the scarves, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gloves! I feel you on the exposed wrists. If I find a long sleeve shirt that actually does the job, it's a miracle!
ReplyDeleteOooh, pretty gloves! Even better is the wrist coverage! :)
ReplyDeleteYour scarves are gorgeous! I really like the detail on the gloves. We get just cold enough here in NorCal that pretty gloves are really useful in the early mornings - so, I'd LOVE to have them!
ReplyDeletegloves are pretty...and the scarves...oh those are lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, girl, I know Nordstrom Rack! They don't have one by me, but when I lived/worked in the suburbs, it was a great place to go. The scarves are beautiful! I'm looking for skinny ones to wear on my head kind of like a headband to tie at my neck (to help cover my thinning hair). And those gloves are so cute! I hear you about the wrist thing...between that and the ankles on pants that aren't quite long enough...sheesh. =o) Have a super duper weekend! p.s.--I see your ticker is moving in a good direction, mama!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, so pretty. I hope I win!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those beautiful gloves! They will be worn lots ere in the Northwest (where Nordstrom began, btw) :)
ReplyDeleteCount me in on the contest, they would match my coat better than the ones i have now.

WHOOEEE! Look at the comments when there are treats, LOL! You are such an incredibly generous soul, my dear Mrs.
ReplyDeleteWould it help to mention that I just yesterday ripped the finger out of my right glove?
NO? That's okay... I'm not here for the gloves (I'm Canadian, eh), pretty as they are... though in my world, with a child, black is the practical colour! I long for a really nice, expensive, soft as butter, leather pair... which I will never have because to get a pair, I need to buy two sets, as my hands are significantly different sizes (size5 & 8). I just thank God it's not my feet! Maybe when the kid is grown I'll slurge and have a pair custom made... not sure where or how, but I've got time to work on that one.
I love your scarves, too! And I like scarves. I was newly inspired by my niece at Christmas... OMG! Can the girl tie creatively! She made inexpensive, plain shirts and sweaters look very chic. Do you know... is there anywhere I could purchase some flare? I seem to be deficient in that department.
...and Sur La table sounds like my kind of store... and everything fits!
I can't wait to find out who wins, and to see what other treats you've found to offer!
Love ya!
I just stumbled onto your blog...very inspiring! The gloves are fabulous, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteoh wow! Those look SOFT! How nice of you to have a little contest! I love scarves too, I just bought a soft pastel pink and white one today! I should do a post soon with my shopping finds ;)
ReplyDeleteThose gorgeous white gloves would look great with my new red coat (size large) that hubby got me for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love the gloves. Totally frilly and would look great on me. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWho knew you were such a scarf whore! ;-) So very nice of you to share the love with your readers with a little post-holiday giveaway!
