Quick update and eats

It's been a super busy day so I'm sorry for the super late post.  The Mr took today off so we decided to go see Arthur since I heart Russell Brand.  I didn't see the original so I had no clue what to expect.  It was great and the Mr said the updating made more sense than the original.  It would've been perfect had at the last second 2 little forms of birth control didn't come stomping up the stairs, plop down right behind me and start kicking my chair.  The mother who brought her 8 month old infant to the movie as well came up and sat between them crunching her ice, crinkling bags, loud chomping from all around and oh yeah, the sound of suckling halfway through.  I was too horrified to see if it was a bottle or a teat.  It was like we were being punished for trying to enjoy ourselves.  THIS is why we don't go to the movies.  $10 for us to get our seats kicked, loud rude people, a parent who doesn't know how to and a baby who managed to coo, suckle or babble through poignant moments of the show.  Never again.  Okay, I can't say never again but I'll say next time I will have no problem getting up and leaving so I can enjoy the movie in peace.  I paid my money and I like to watch it without an 8 year old tap dancing on my back.  I suppose it's a testament to the new BC pills because how I did not reach both hands behind me, grab a head and launch her into the screen when I'm smack dab in the middle of Aunt Flo's visit is nothing short of a miracle.  We did a bunch of errands too and finally just got back from so many irritants that it's a wonder we didn't end up on the news.

Here's today's eats:

Breakfast: Quaker High Fiber Brown Sugar oatmeal with 1/2 tbsp chia seeds, 4 oz skim milk, banana with 1/2 tbsp natural peanut butter with flax seeds.

Lunch:  Tuna cups (1 can Bumblebee tuna in water- triple washed, 2 tbsp Miracle Whip Light, 1/8 cup green onions in 3 endive leaves), raw veggies with 1/2 tbsp dip, fruit salad, fig bar, pink lady apple, fat free caramel apple dip.

Dinner:  BBQ Chicken Panini (TJ's (Trader Joe's) 10 Grain Bread, 4 oz grilled chicken breast, 1 tbsp BB King's BBQ sauce, 1 tbsp roasted garlic hummus, 1 piece marbled colby jack thin cheese), homemade potato wedges.

Snack: Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding and Cool Whip

  2. "Two little forms of birth control". I have so been there! Then again, you'd probably think the same of my little guy so I'm not in much of a position to talk. I can tell you I would not have brought my 4 year old to Arthur, and IF he kicked the seat in front of him it would have been once and I would have put a stop to it.
